How to Apply
Qualifications
UTokyo Global FFDP is open to those who are affiliated with the University of Tokyo as graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty and staff members. We also offer an observer category for those outside the University. If you would like to participate as an observer, please see the section at the end of this page. Please note that this course is provided entirely in English. Prior to the participation, please carefully read the information and syllabus in “3. Outline”.
Application steps
The application schedule is as follows:

STEP 1
Join a briefing session of UTokyo Global FFDP (participation is optional).

STEP 2
Complete the application form.

STEP 3(FFDP Staff)
Participants will be selected based on the applications.

STEP 4(FFDP Staff)
The result will be announced via email.

STEP 5
UTokyo Global FFDP begins.
Briefing session
We conduct an orientation session on UTokyo Global FFDP.
The session for its 3rd edition (2024 A Semester) has not been determined yet.

Application form
Please fill in the application form if you would like to participate in the program. Selections will be made based on the information filled in the form, and you will be notified of the results before the program begins.
Observer system
We also welcome participants within and from outside the University as observers.
Please indicate that you would like to be an observer in the “Other comments/questions/doubts” field at the end of the application form.
